Visite de la manufacture F. P. JOURNERetour à l'âge d'or avec F.P JOURNE
The vocation of the Fine Watch Club, the private watch club of GMT & WorldTempus magazine, is to bring together watch enthusiasts with the most prestigious watch brands.
The Fine Watch Club relaunched in the autumn of 2021 with a brand new program designed by Jean-Christophe Teigner. Whether through private events, visits to manufacturers or exchanges on our social network platforms, we will talk about Movement, Caliber, Design, Manufacture and way more alongside multiple watch personalities.
Being part of the Club gives you exclusive access to private events and an unparalleled opportunity to "step through the looking glass" and experience the secretive world of watchmaking.
Looking behind the scenes at watch manufacturers, taking part in prestigious events, discovering new launches before they are released to the public, and gaining access to limited editions designed in collaboration with watchmakers – these are generally out of reach of anyone who is not part of that community. But the Fine Watch Club can open doors. As the Club's founder, Brice Lechevalier, explains: "The goal of the Club is to open up the world of watchmaking to enthusiasts from all over the world, thanks to the network we have built up over 20 years based in Geneva, the cradle of watchmaking. By joining the Club, members enjoy benefits they would struggle to access without our network. They can grow closer to brands whose values they share and with which we are in daily contact through our activities with WorldTempus and GMT."
Besides the regular Happy Hours organised in the FWC's lounge in Geneva, where guests "talk about watches, bond over a shared passion, discuss savoir-faire, design, technology, watch industry news and the latest launches," as Jean-Christophe Teigner notes, the rate of meetups accelerated significantly over the year. Club members enjoyed exclusive invitations to many events, including the GPHG (Grand Prix de l'Horlogerie de Genève), WorldTempus's celebration in Geneva, the Dubai Watch Week, the Watches & Wonders, the Monaco Yacht Show and way more.

What they said
Every time there is an interesting crowd of people who love watchmaking and who are eager to learn more, it a pleasure to do something specific for them. And to also be the first to address this exercice (of creating a limited edition) was fascinating and that’s why we dived in immediately. The Fine Watch Club is a very interested crowd of connoisseurs who are eager to learn more about watchmaking.
Watches are everywhere and don’t know borders. Sometimes, they also get people to connect, talk and share stories. So, the idea of an International Club fits perfectly my vision of what watches should be and could bring.
The Fine Watch Club is a great initiative to reach our clients and talk to them in a different way. We all have boutiques and points of sales, but approaching clients in this special and privileged manner—this is totally in line with today’s world. And I’m sure our clients will really appreciate our limited edition with the Fine Watch Club.
Thanks to the Club, brands can organise specific events that will allow members to gain more tangible knowledge on how the industry works and even discover new aspects. As an enthusiast and collector myself, it’s the meetings with figures in the industry that have brought the most joy for me. It’s what the Fine Watch Club brings to its members: a unique perspective that will give them a new outlook on the watches they already own or dream to own one day.
